We provide the outdoor audience access to extraordinary adventures. We do this by creating podcasts, VLOGS, and reporting current news. We will explore the world along with the outdoor community.
Phil Friedman broke into the outdoor media in 1985 when he started 976-TUNA. Thousands of anglers would call 976-tuna daily to hear Phil give a dramatic and super-charged account of where the fish were
biting. Friedman started his radio career in the 1980s with legendary sportscaster Bud Furilo. He then went on to do several Radio shows throughout his career interviewing hundreds of guests like Ted Nugent, Henry Winkler, and Tito Ortiz. Friedman was also a prolific writer. He wrote for several publications and was the outdoor writer for the Daily Breeze in Torrance California for over a decade. Friedman has been honored with a myriad of the awards for his continual help for kids and others in need. He was also named a Hero in Education by the California lottery Association. He also established the Phil Friedman youth outdoor program whhas taken over 100,000 intercity children on their very first fishing trip. Phil has also provided fishing trips for our veterans and has even provided fishing trips to several orphanages in Baja California, Mexico. In 2020, Friedman returned from China to start Friedman Adventurers with his two sons Philip and Patrick. The father-son team we'll be doing a podcast and bringing listeners some of the most exciting outdoor activities available worldwide.
Phil Friedman Jr has been fishing since the age of two and has devoted most of his life to acquiring fishing knowledge. When he was twelve years old, he pinheaded on the Spitfire, Redondo Special, and Betty G out of Redondo Sport Fishing. At the age of twenty two, he became an avid freshwater bass fisherman. He participated in the FLW and Wild West bass Trail tournament series in Northern California and Arizona. He is a founding member of the Bassbros Fishing Vlog and produces and edits his own videos.
A native to Southern California, Patrick has always had a passion for fishing. As a kid, he would practice the art of sport fishing on local salt-water boats. It was not until college, where he pursued his Entrepreneurship degree, that he would begin fishing freshwater. At San Jose State, he became the president of the bass fishing club where he competed against other colleges from around the nation. He fished collegiate national freshwater competitions twice, first at Lake Chatuge, Georgia and then at Lake Wheeler, Alabama. Patrick was born into a fishing family and loves all sorts of fishing. However, bass fishing has a special appeal to him combining his general love of fishing and competition. Patrick is a founding partner in Bass Bros Fishing Vlog on Facebook. His entrepreneurial spirit, desire to innovate, and knowledge of the target markets make him a great director for the concept and goals of Water Boats Bass.
