We’re heading out for a mix of local fishing and a run to the Channel Islands all in one day. We’ll start with local bass, barracuda, and yellowtail, then head out to the islands for halibut and plenty of rockfish. In this wild El Niño year, you never know what else might show up. Phil will be on board live streaming parts of the day, so it should be a fun time for everyone. Limited load trip — departs 6 AM and returns around 5 PM. Please arrive by 5 AM for check-in. Phil Friedman is a lifelong Southern California sportfishing veteran. He started at age 12 as a pinhead aboard the iconic Redondo Special, captained the Thunder Fish commercial boat, and in 1985 launched 976-TUNA — the groundbreaking service that revolutionized real-time fishing reports.
