Surprise Reunion on the Pier! 🎣👮

Ran into this outstanding California Fish & Wildlife officer, Kevin Paredes, right on the pier near me. He recognized me instantly… turns out he played football with my son Patrick at Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance. What a solid young man. So proud to see him serving and protecting our fisheries and outdoors here in California. We had a great time catching up on old shenanigans and swapping stories. Moments like this remind me how small the fishing world really is. Always great connecting with the next generation looking after our waters! #FriedmanAdventures #CaliforniaFishAndWildlife #BishopMontgomery #Sportfishing #SoCalFishing #LeaveNoOneIndoors

Hey everyone, We’re opening Wednesday’s trip to the public.

Get Directions

Come fish with Friedman Adventures on the Estella out of Hooks Landing in Oxnard. Wednesday, July 29 Full day trip Check-in 5:00 AM • Departure 6:00 AM • Return around 5:00 PM Cost: $150 Weather forecast looks good now. We had to cancel tomorrow’s trip because of very poor weather — windy with a big swell. It would have been a waste of everyone’s time and money, so we canceled after talking with Captain Daniel Hadawi and confirming with the New Hustler. The forecast changed this afternoon and forced the cancellation. Good news is we have a solid new date. Same boat, same landing. Limited to 32 anglers + 3 Friedman Adventures staff (cameraman, drone operator, and videographer) so we can live stream the whole trip, create great memories for you, and let your family and friends watch live. Everyone is welcome. To join, just text Phil at 657-227-6459. Or come by the Friedman Adventures booth this weekend at the California Angler Show in San Pedro (July 25–26) and we’ll sign you up right there. Looking forward to getting out on the water with you.
