Get Stoked: 3 Open Fan Trips With the Stoked On Fishing Crew — Eldo, Cedros & the Amazon

If you have ever watched a Stoked On Fishing episode and thought, “I want to be on that boat,” this is the call. Andrew, Shea and the crew do not just put you on fish — they run trips the way the show looks: limited loads, good people, lots of laughs, and a crew that actually wants you to hook up.
I have fished with this group and I endorse these trips without hesitation. If you want in on any of the three below, call Andrew at +1 (909) 560-2394. Spots are thin.
1. El Dorado — Sept 13–15 — 4 spots — $895
2-day trip out of Long Beach Sportfishing. Meals included. Limited load, 20 anglers max.
This is the classic Stoked On Fishing “Eldo” run on the 85-foot El Dorado with Captains TJ Schlick and Will Hogue. SOF has been chartering this boat for years because it is roomy, the galley is real, and a 20-person load means you can actually fish instead of fighting for rail space. September is prime for bluefin, yellowtail, and whatever else is stacked on the banks — Tanner, Cortez, San Clemente, or wherever the bite is that week. Recent Eldo counts have been mixing bluefin, yellowtail, dorado, and island fish. Sunday night departure, Tuesday evening return. Four seats left.
Bonus timing: our end-of-summer Surf Fishing Festival is Saturday, Sept 12, 9am–12pm at Anderson St / PCH in Sunset Beach (noon raffle; park across PCH and at Big Fish Bait & Tackle in Seal Beach). Fish the beach Saturday, jump on the Eldo Sunday night.
2. Cedros Island Premium — Oct 2–5 — 1 spot — $3,300
Depart CBX. Food, lodging, transportation, and three days of panga fishing included.
Cedros is why Stoked On Fishing keeps going back in October. You cross at the Cross Border Express (CBX) in Otay Mesa, fly to the island, and fish super-pangas with local captains. October is the variety window: resident yellowtail (20–40+ lb fish are common), plus shots at yellowfin, dorado, calico bass, sheephead, and halibut. SOF has filmed multiple “Cedros went off” episodes here for a reason — small groups, short runs, and fish that live on the rocks. One premium seat left. Confirm exact inclusions with Andrew when you book.
3. Amazon / Brazil — Nov 14–25 — $5,495 double occupancy
Blackwater Explorer. Airfare and tips not included.
This is the bucket-list trip. Stoked On Fishing has been running the Rio Negro with Acute Angling and the air-conditioned Blackwater Explorer mothership for years — peacock bass that explode on woodchoppers and topwater, plus the jungle species mix (giant catfish and more depending on the week). Typical setup is two anglers per boat with a local guide, yacht follows the best water, and you fish remote tributaries most people will never see. $5,495 per person double occupancy. International airfare to Manaus and tips are extra. If you have ever wanted “that” Amazon trip with a crew that already knows the drill, this is it.
