Congratulations Pete Demers! Los Angeles Sportswalk of Fame Inductee 🏒

What an honor to celebrate our friend Pete Demers today. Pete, the longtime head athletic trainer for the Los Angeles Kings, was inducted into the Los Angeles Sportswalk of Fame in San Pedro. This longstanding tradition recognizes people who have made a lasting impact on their sport and their community, and it fits Pete perfectly.

For 37 years with the Kings organization he never missed a game — 2,632 consecutive regular-season contests. He is an inaugural member of the Kings Hall of Fame and has been honored by the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers Society and the Hockey Hall of Fame. Beyond the ice, Pete has spent decades quietly volunteering in homeless shelters and giving his time to those in need. He has been a wonderful guest on the Friedman Adventures podcast multiple times and is simply a great human being.

From all of us at Friedman Adventures — congratulations, Pete. Well deserved. Thank you for your service to the game and to the community.
