WIDE OPEN BLUEFIN on the TORONADO! 80+ Bluefin • Limited Out in 4 Hours!

KJ from Mag-12 Swimbaits just got back from an absolute crush last night on the Toronado out of Pierpoint Landing in Long Beach.

They hit the bluefin grounds at 7:00 pm and were completely done by 11:00 pm.

80+ bluefin tuna

~20 yellowtail

Plus rockfish, lingcod & sheephead

250–400 gram jigs were the ticket. Majority of the bluefin action is currently up near San Nicolas Island — much closer for the LA, Orange County, and Channel Islands fleet than San Diego.
