🌙 Last night on the Independence out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, while chasing bluefin tuna near Tanner Bank, this beauty came up on the rail and the crew immediately yelled “MONCHONG!”
It sure looks like a Pacific Pomfret (or one of the monchong species in the same family). Same deep body, same metallic colors, same firm delicious flesh. Maybe the crew was right all along!
