Twilight Bite is ON! Captain Daniel Hadawi Reports Excellent Bass & Halibut Action on the Estella’s First Twilight Trip of the Year

Captain Daniel Hadawi and the crew aboard the Estella out of Hooks Landing in Oxnard, California kicked off their first twilight trip of the year with an outstanding night bite. Anglers were catching bass and halibut right from the start, and Captain Hadawi says the night is just beginning with really excellent fishing on board.

The Estella is putting out solid numbers and quality fish as the nighttime bite gets going strong. Captain Hadawi recommends using 20 to 25 pound test line and bringing the following tackle for best results:

• 6 oz and 10 oz torpedo sinkers

• 4/0 Aki twist hooks

• 1 oz lead heads
