🎣 Yellowtail Bite ON in San Diego! Premier Loads 15 + Happy Angler on H&M Landing

The San Diego yellowtail bite keeps rolling! The Premier out of H&M Landing delivered 15 yellowtail for 17 anglers today — solid action for the second straight day.

Most fish are in the 12–15 lb class with some bigger ones mixed in. Fly line with 25 lb fluorocarbon (#2 to 2/0 hooks) and fresh, hot bait has been the go-to. Surface iron (Teddy 45 or similar) is also producing when you can reach them with longer rods. Cast to boils and diving birds — that’s where the bait is getting pushed up.

Here’s one happy angler who got into them on the Premier this morning. The half-day fleet in San Diego is looking good right now!
