Vanessa & Faline Score Yellowtail at Horseshoe Kelp

Faline from Fishing With Faline and Vanessa from Reel Nessa got into the yellowtail today off San Pedro at Horseshoe Kelp. Two Friedman Adventures family favorites. They show up at our events and make them better. Always good to see them catching fish.

They were out on a private boat with dear friends. Beautiful weather. A fun day. Sardines were the bait. Vanessa said the key was a bait that was really lively and wanted to swim. Faline said 25- to 30-pound fluorocarbon, a half-ounce sliding egg sinker, and a 1/0 or 2/0 hook worked best.
