That Smile Says It All. Las Palmas, Cabo. Skateboards for the Kids. 🛹

A few years back Friedman Adventures rolled into Las Palmas, a poor pueblo near Cabo San Lucas. The Mexican government had built these kids a beautiful skate park. The problem was simple. The kids who lived around that park did not have the money for a skateboard.

So with the help of some really great people, fishermen and outdoorsmen back home and friends in Cabo, we headed to Baja with hundreds of skateboards and helmets. We also brought footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, and clothing. Then I got to play Santa Claus and meet the kids and the good people of that town.

This photo is the whole story. She is holding her board, and that smile says it all. Leave No One Indoors. Get the kids outside. That is the mission.
