Friedman Adventures Takes Over the Arrecho Sportfishing | October 5–9, 2026
We’re heading to one of the most beautiful and productive fishing destinations in the world — Puerto Vallarta, Mexico — for an unforgettable week of giant yellowfin tuna action, pro-level camaraderie, and daily LIVE STREAMS you can watch from anywhere!
From October 5 through the 9th, 2026, the Friedman Adventures crew is taking over the Arrecho, a custom 2022 Andros 32 Offshore center-console built for serious offshore work.
We’ll be fishing the legendary grounds of Banderas Bay, La Corbetena, and El Banco — chasing giant yellowfin tuna (60–100+ lb fish are common this time of year, with true “cow” yellowfins possible on the right tides and moon phase) while enjoying the incredible variety Puerto Vallarta offers in early October.
This is prime season! Expect yellowfin tuna, dorado/mahi-mahi (strong runs in September–October), wahoo, sailfish, and the chance at marlin. The Arrecho is fully rigged with Hooker Electric tuna tubes, advanced electronics, Starlink for reliable live streaming, and a pro crew led by Captain Sergio Montiel — a local expert who knows these waters like the back of his hand.
